You have a voice for positive change in your community!

Oct 15, 2010 at 11:29 AM by Sara McCarthy

Do you have a house that is dilapidated like this one in our neighborhood and is affecting your ability to sell? This pink victorian (that once was probably the crown jewel of the community) in Ravenswood / Uptown area was sold to a developer a few years ago (yes, height of the market). We have been told the home is to be taken down for a very long time. We have reached out to our local Alderman who will be hosting a community mtg to discuss. If you have issues in your neighborhood...reach out to your local Alderman for assistance. Want to know who your Alderman is? Go to http://www.cityofchicago.org/city/en/about/council.html/. Your Alderman is your resource working with you to make positive improvements to all of our Chicago neighborhoods.
